Zhuang Lab Squash Ladder Rules
as of 12/12/2006
You cannot challenge people who are out or injured.
A match is won by "best of 5" (up to 9 points per set), so you play a minimum of 3 sets.
Detailed squash-rules can be found at for example: www.squash.org
If you beat an opponent, you take their place and they move down one.
If someone challenges you, you have to play within 2 weeks, otherwise, they win (vacations etc. excluded of course).
If you don't play for a month, you are demoted down 1 place.
To limit the immediate re-challenging, you cannot play the same opponent twice during one day (at least not for the ladder).
New participants start at the bottom.
If you don't play for 6 months, you're taken off the ladder completely (well, after a few warnings!).
Scores can be entered on the ladder website after a match, so the ladder can be updated, don't forget to provide the date the match was played on.
If you're injured and cannot play, or are just taking a break from the ladder, notify Mark.
It is not allowed to play in any indecent outfit. This rule applies especially to Boerries and Greg.
Any other case concerning the squash-ladder, not covered by any of the rules above, will be judged by the devine master of squash himself, being me, Mark.
Another, less time and sweat consuming way of climbing the ladder can be achieved by paying the sum of 10EURO per desired step up, to, of course, Mark. Only payments in Euros will be accepted. Discounts can be discussed for ascents of 10 steps or more.
